Slow Cooker Marry Me Chicken
Marry Me Chicken is a popular creamy chicken dish, and this slow cooker version might be one of my favorites as the slow cook process itself just leaves the chicken juicy and tender while the sauce is rich and flavorful.
Ingredients
- 650 g (1.4 lb) Skinless, boneless chicken breast, About x4, cut into bite sized pieces
- 30 g (0.25 cups) Plain flour (all-purpose flour)
- 3 Garlic cloves, Peeled and crushed
- 100 g (3.5 oz) Sun dried tomatoes, Drained and very finely chopped
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 300 ml (1.25 cups) Boiling water
- 1 Chicken stock cube (bouillon cube), undiluted, crumbled
- 100 g (3.5 oz) Cream cheese
- 50 g (0.5 cups) Parmesan, Grated
- 15 g (3 tsp) Fresh basil leaves
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Steps
- Toss chicken in the plain flour with plenty of salt and pepper until well coated.
- Put into the slow cooker with the garlic, tomatoes, oregano, paprika, crumbled stock cube and water.
