Text "freeze" at anytime to stop getting messages

Being an office worker myself, sometimes I can spend hours in one place. Leveraging the handy ErgoBot on twitter, I built ErgoTxt… every hour it sends registered users a text message to tell them to do something.

These messages are generated by ErgoBot and sent straight to you, so you can get reminded to get up and do something.

Tendons in front of neck: Tilt head back at angle and hold, feel stretch. Now other angle. Walk for a few minutes. Massage fingers and thumb

Hang arms down at your sides. Slowly bring fingers up so palms are facing floor. Feel the stretch in arms and hands. Hold for 10. Repeat.

Raise your arms to the ceiling 10x. Fingers sore? Take a break. Massage them. Cheer up or encourage a friend with a call or email.

  1. How often will I receive a text?

You will receive a text hourly from 9am to 5pm your local time. We do some calculations when you first sign up to get your timezone, so you don't have to worry about it.

  2. Where do the messages come from?

The messages come from the handy ErgoBot twitter feed. I find it easier to get an hourly text to remind me to do something, so that's why I built it.
