Text "freeze" at anytime to stop getting messages

Being an office worker myself, sometimes I can spend hours in one place. Leveraging the handy ErgoBot on twitter, I built ErgoTxt… every hour it sends registered users a text message to tell them to do something.

These messages are generated by ErgoBot and sent straight to you, so you can get reminded to get up and do something.

Is your chin jutting forward? Feel that stress in back of neck? Bend chin to chest 3x. Hold each time. Pull your chin back, straighten up.

Walk around. If able, look outside. Lift spine! Learn 5 new keyboard shortcuts today. STRETCH arms to ceiling, spread fingers, repeat 5x

Stressed about a phone call or other task? Get it over with and then tell a friend. Yes, now! Flex your calves. Need water?

Make tight fists, hold 5 seconds, slowly uncurl. 10x. Pull shoulders, elbows back, hold. Drink water. Stand or walk or meditate 10 minutes.

Tendons in front of neck: Tilt head back at angle and hold, feel stretch. Now other angle. Walk for a few minutes. Massage fingers and thumb

  1. How often will I receive a text?

You will receive a text hourly from 9am to 5pm your local time. We do some calculations when you first sign up to get your timezone, so you don't have to worry about it.

  2. Where do the messages come from?

The messages come from the handy ErgoBot twitter feed. I find it easier to get an hourly text to remind me to do something, so that's why I built it.
