Text "freeze" at anytime to stop getting messages

Being an office worker myself, sometimes I can spend hours in one place. Leveraging the handy ErgoBot on twitter, I built ErgoTxt… every hour it sends registered users a text message to tell them to do something.

These messages are generated by ErgoBot and sent straight to you, so you can get reminded to get up and do something.

Put arm straight out in front of you. Use other hand to fold your hand down and hold 15 seconds to stretch elbow. Then pull hand up for 10.

Stretch just till you feel it, not pain. Arms hanging down, bring fingertips up, palms face floor, hold, as you slowly roll head in circles.

Prevention is key! Never lean on elbows to work! Deep breaths, exhale slowly 10x. Water! Share a hearty laugh. You look SO GOOD today!

Find bone at base of thumb, palm side. Massage that point. Hand problems can start at your neck. Shoulders back! Slow circles with head.

Time to stand in the doorway again. Palms and arms against frame. Gently step forward to stretch. Do 5 times slowly. Close eyes. Walk a bit.

  1. How often will I receive a text?

You will receive a text hourly from 9am to 5pm your local time. We do some calculations when you first sign up to get your timezone, so you don't have to worry about it.

  2. Where do the messages come from?

The messages come from the handy ErgoBot twitter feed. I find it easier to get an hourly text to remind me to do something, so that's why I built it.
